How will Bootbemiddeling.nl advertise my boat?
Besides showing it on the Bootbemiddeling.nl website, we will advertise your boat on all major boating websites and selling platforms. In addition, we work together with some 20 providers all over Europe that will also promote your boat via their channels. We are of course present on social media like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as well, plus we place traditional ads in printed media. We also visit boat shows around Europe, where we make sure we are highly visible.
Can I also sell my boat from my own marina?
Yes, besides selling your boat from our sales marina in Kerkdriel, you can also make use of our brokerage services while your boat stays in your own marina. Together we can come up with a suitable arrangement that will yield the best result for you and for your future buyer.
Can I still use my boat during the selling period?
Yes, of course you can keep using your boat. Whether it is in our selling marina or at your own berth, you can still enjoy your boat while it is for sale. Please do let us know when you are planning to use it, so that we can state this in the ad in due time.
Can any maintenance work be performed on my boat?
Yes, our office is located in a water sports area with numerous boating-related maintenance businesses, which are literally a stone’s throw away from the selling marina. In addition to a 40-tonne travel lift and ample boat storage options, the area is home to a metal processing business, a polyester repair service, a ship panelling business, three ship painters and two general maintenance businesses. Just five minutes from the marina you will find an upholstery business, two sail makers and a sail cleaner. We will be happy to advise you on their services!
Are viewings supervised?
Yes, we will always accompany any potential buyers to your boat, and we will stay with them throughout the viewing to provide information and answer questions. Naturally, we will offer them plenty of time and space to get a proper feel of your boat. We will check your boat and lock it properly after every visit.
What are the options and restrictions in connection with COVID-19?
We ask our visitors to make a prior appointment for any viewings or visits to our office, so that we can reserve plenty of time and space in our office, on our jetties and on our boats. Obviously we keep a close eye on the national guidance and regulations relating to COVID-19. Both our people and our business premises fully adhere to the rules. Everyone is still very welcome, and we will be happy to receive you!
