We boarded this beautiful Lowland Princess and spontaneously felt warm inside. The classic and timeless lines, combined with a beautiful wooden superstructure & high-gloss lacquered interior are characteristic of the authentic Dutch yacht builders. Behind this nostalgia lies a variety of innovations that have been implemented in recent years and that make this classic a very usable and reliable ship. For example, a boiler was installed in 2018/2019, the batteries and the 4 mattresses were renewed and a complete winter sail was also made. In 2021 to 2023, the electrical installation on board was renewed, the hull was blasted, both the hull and the superstructure were professionally painted and the hull was locally doubled + fitted with new skin penetrations & valves. This Lowland Princess is equipped with two Volvo Penta 6 cylinder diesel engines and was equipped with hydraulic stabilizers in earlier times. These stabilizers are out of order and now function as bilge keels, but a large part of the hydraulic installation is still present in the engine room. Finally, a new spray hood including bimini + skid plates was installed in 2024 and the curtains were renewed & the antifouling and propeller shaft bearing were renewed in the spring of 2025.
