This Beachcraft 1000 AK “Elba” is a solidly built steel motor cruiser from 1978. The vessel has undergone numerous upgrades in recent years; in 2021, the hull was painted and the underwater hull fitted with new antifouling, and in 2023 the superstructure was painted (2-component), giving this ship a fresh and well-maintained appearance.
On board, you will find a practical layout consisting of the saloon, an enclosed sleeping cabin, and additional berths that can be created, providing a total of approximately four sleeping places. In the galley, a 3-burner stove and refrigerator are at your disposal. Heating and comfort are provided by a Webasto forced-air heater, a separate wet room with toilet and washbasin, a Vetus bow thruster, a Victron MultiPlus, generous battery capacity, and solar panels.
The Perkins diesel engine of approximately 85 hp, coupled to a reconditioned Paragon gearbox and a 4-bladed bronze propeller, provides a cruising speed of around 10 km/h and a fuel consumption of about 4–5 liters per hour.
